On June 5, 2026, Dr. John A. Cherry—a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and an internationally renowned expert in groundwater—and Professor Jiao Jiujiu from the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Hong Kong visited Emery (Hebei) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Emery”) for a site visit and consultation.
The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions focusing on technological innovation and industrial application in groundwater environmental monitoring. They reached a preliminary consensus on international cooperation, the commercialization of research findings, and technological innovation, thereby injecting new momentum into Emery’s global development in the groundwater sector.

During the visit, Dr. Cherry and Professor Jiao received a detailed briefing from company founder Song Qingguo regarding the company’s development history, core technology R&D, product application scenarios, and market positioning. They also toured Emery’s achievement exhibition area, product testing laboratory, and R&D center.
The experts highly commended Emery’s breakthroughs in groundwater sampling and monitoring equipment technology, specifically acknowledging the technical performance, stability, and practicality of the company’s proprietary products, such as the AML920 groundwater flow velocity and direction meter and the AML919 groundwater sampler.

At the symposium, the parties held in-depth discussions on key topics including the optimization of multi-layer groundwater monitoring technology, the upgrading of contaminant transport monitoring equipment, the localization of cutting-edge international technologies, joint research project applications, and talent training and exchange.
Dr. Cherry shared the latest global trends and application cases regarding multi-level groundwater monitoring technology, while Professor Jiao offered targeted guidance on the company’s R&D direction, taking into account my country’s specific geological and environmental characteristics.
