The AML919 groundwater sampler delivers water in an average of just three minutes—a performance unmatched in the industry.

We recently received an inquiry from a service provider in Beijing asking if AIMOLI’s AML919 groundwater sampler could truly deliver water within three minutes.

In response, I shared a real-world case study involving a head-to-head field comparison between imported equipment and our AML919 sampler, conducted by the National Analytical and Testing Center under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.

Around June 2021, Director Yang and his team from the National Analytical and Testing Center visited AIMOLI to evaluate our AML919 groundwater sampler.

On-site, Director Yang conducted two tests comparing the imported sampler they had brought with them against our AIMOLI AML919 unit.

The first test was a basic equipment check performed using a water barrel in our AIMOLI laboratory. While the imported sampler produced water quickly, our AIMOLI sampler performed just as impressively. However, since this was merely a simple equipment check without significant water depth, the comparison was not particularly conclusive.

The second test involved actual field sampling, where the imported sampler clearly lagged behind our AML919.

The water depth at the site was 43 meters. After lowering the AIMOLI bladder pump into the well, we activated the controller and started the timer; a steady flow of water emerged in just 2 minutes and 47 seconds.

In contrast, after lowering the imported sampler into the well and performing the necessary setup steps, the controller failed to detect the bladder pump entirely.

What was the issue? It had been working perfectly in the laboratory just moments before.

Our engineers discovered that the imported sampler’s power connector was poorly designed for user convenience; connecting it required significant effort—specifically, pressing down while simultaneously twisting. The operator likely hadn’t applied enough force, resulting in an improper connection that prevented the controller from detecting the pump.

By comparison, the AIMOLI AML919 uses a plug-in installation method with an external screw-on protective sleeve, making operation safe, convenient, and effortless.

Once the connection was corrected, the imported sampler did eventually produce water, but the process took nearly seven minutes—as shown on the timer—before water flow was successfully established. Director Yang gave us a thumbs-up and remarked, “I never expected an imported groundwater sampler to be such a shoddy knock-off. Your AIMOLI sampler is truly impressive—it really delivers water flow within just three minutes!”

In the past, the term “knock-off” was typically associated with inferior domestic products. However, the landscape has changed; “Made in China” now signifies advanced quality, while some foreign products turn out to be nothing special.

After viewing our wall of patents, Director Yang commented with admiration: “Many patents in our country remain merely on paper; few companies manage—as AIMOLI has—to truly bring patents to life through actual production, sales, and service. AIMOLI is truly remarkable.”

When we began developing the AIMOLI AML919 groundwater sampler three years ago, we set our sights high, benchmarking it directly against three leading international brands.

During development, we incorporated AIMOLI’s proprietary ultra-high-pressure technology into the control system to handle sampling across various water depths. We also utilized our patented ultra-pressure-resistant design for the bladder pump, allowing it to withstand the external pressures found at different depths. By combining these two patented technologies, we are able to customize the AML919 sampler for depths of up to 300 meters.

Field usage and data analysis from numerous users confirm that the AIMOLI sampler achieves water flow in an average of three minutes—a speed that surpasses imported models.

Following this exchange, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment purchased our AIMOLI groundwater samplers.

Upon hearing about our track record, this client also marveled at AIMOLI’s impressive capabilities.
