Groundwater Sampler After-Sales Case: AIMOLI Traveled 2,200 km in 48 Hours to Support an Inner Mongolia Customer

Before the National Day holiday, AIMOLI completed a special after-sales service mission for a groundwater sampling project.

The AIMOLI groundwater sampler after-sales team traveled more than 2,200 km round trip from Shijiazhuang, China, and delivered a backup groundwater sampling device to a customer in Inner Mongolia within 48 hours, ensuring the customer could complete their urgent groundwater sampling task on schedule.

This was not only a repair service, but also a commitment to customer success.

Groundwater Sampler Failure Put the Customer’s Sampling Project at Risk

On September 28, a customer from Inner Mongolia urgently contacted AIMOLI’s after-sales service team.

The customer reported that their groundwater sampler, which had been operating normally for a long time, suddenly failed during a scheduled sampling operation. The equipment could no longer pump water, causing the groundwater sampling work to come to a complete stop.

According to groundwater monitoring requirements, collected water samples must be transported to the testing institution within the specified time after sampling. Therefore, this sampling project had to be completed before the National Day holiday. Otherwise, the previous preparation work, personnel arrangements, and testing schedule would all be affected.

With the holiday approaching, the customer was under significant pressure and urgently needed a solution for the groundwater sampling equipment failure.

Remote Troubleshooting Identified the Problem, and a Backup Device Became the Best Solution

After receiving the customer’s request, AIMOLI’s technical team immediately conducted remote troubleshooting through phone communication and video inspection via WeChat.

After analysis, the engineers confirmed that the failure was caused by a wiring problem related to improper operation during use. The groundwater sampler needed to be returned to the factory for professional repair.

However, sending the equipment back for repair and waiting for it to be returned would take too much time and could not meet the customer’s sampling schedule before the holiday.

To avoid delaying the customer’s project, AIMOLI decided to provide a backup groundwater sampling device and deliver it directly to the customer’s sampling site.

48 Hours and 2,200 km: AIMOLI Ensured the Customer’s Project Continued

At that time, only two days remained before the National Day holiday.

Transportation options such as flights, high-speed rail, and regular logistics could not guarantee that the backup groundwater sampler would arrive at the customer’s location in time.

Meanwhile, due to strict regional travel restrictions at that period, cross-region transportation and personnel movement were also challenging.

After careful consideration, AIMOLI decided to send engineers by car and personally deliver the backup equipment to the customer.

On the afternoon of September 28, the AIMOLI team departed from Shijiazhuang and traveled through Baoding, Tianjin, Tangshan, Chengde, and other cities.

They drove on highways throughout the journey and arrived in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, at around 2:00 AM on September 29.

After a short rest, they continued their journey at 6:00 AM toward Balin Left Banner, located approximately 260 km north of Chifeng.

Although the scenery along the way was beautiful, there was no time to stop and enjoy it. The priority was to arrive safely and quickly to ensure the customer’s sampling work could proceed.

More Than 1,000 km in 14 Hours: Equipment Delivered Successfully to the Customer

At approximately 9:30 AM on September 29, AIMOLI’s after-sales engineers successfully met with the customer and traveled together to the sampling location.

The entire one-way journey covered more than 1,000 km and took approximately 14 hours.

The customer highly praised AIMOLI’s fast response and professional after-sales support. After learning about the team’s overnight journey, the customer was deeply impressed by AIMOLI’s service efficiency and sense of responsibility.

Equipment Inspection Identified the Cause and Protected Future Sampling Operations

After completing the groundwater sampling task, AIMOLI engineers conducted a detailed inspection of the customer’s original low-flow groundwater sampling pump.

The inspection found that the equipment cable had been worn and damaged, with exposed wires visible. The issue was determined to have most likely occurred due to improper handling during operation.

To ensure the customer’s future groundwater sampling projects could continue smoothly after the holiday, AIMOLI left the backup low-flow groundwater sampling pump with the customer for temporary use.

At 5:00 PM on September 30, the AIMOLI after-sales team safely returned to the company.

The entire emergency support mission lasted 48 hours, covered more than 2,200 km, and successfully prevented delays to the customer’s groundwater monitoring project.
